So my devil curse came true. Tomorrow of that day, I went to school to take Dari exam. I knew I will screw it and I was Ok. Like it's something zero important to me and to be honest most of my classmates and friends had the same feelings like me, getting bad and awful scores and not giving a shit, it was like we all were expecting these fucking days. Gosh, it was the last day I met my best friend, Zainab, I really miss her now, I swear every time I think of her and her sisters I can't stop crying. I fucking swear... I had some fun time with Zainab spending almost 40 Afghani Rupees on our favorite snack, crunchy, and had a conversation the way back to our homes. I wish I had hugged all my classmates, my beloved classmates and friends tighter the last time. Oh God...
On the bus way back to home, I noticed that Barchi City Center was closed. The lady sitting next to me told me, see Barchi is closed. I said why? And she replied, cause the Taliban took over Kabul. It was 10 A.M. I looked at the woman and said you better shut your mouth ok? Stop saying bullshits. Those rats never can take over our capital since we have police, an army and a PRESIDENT. A MOTHERFCKER piece of shit president. When we arrived at Naghash station where Bahare Sarab Business Center was located, I pointed to the mall and said, see Bahar Sarab is open. So nothing is wrong. Don't panic and don't try to make others panic. The lady and the driver were just shocked by what I said. Maybe the whole bus was shocked IDK, from my seat, I could just see their faces.
Well I finally arrived home and saw my family had bought kilos of rice, grains, bottles of oil and everything needed for a two months lockdown. Then a friend of ours came to our home with Burqa wearing on. She was scared and frightened she said Taliban took over the police station, they entered Kabul. Our guest said the president had fled. Everyone had something to say or show on their goddamned mobile phones. I had a headache, I was feeling so bad, the world was spiing before my eyes. I was wordless, I layed on my bed without changing my school uniform or removing my white scarf which I was going to school wearing every gross warm day of Kabul. I just layed on my bed and started staring to the wall, to an unknown spot, voices in my head, bad news, bad news, thinking of nothing but taliban, deprivation, imprisoned, Burqa, death, darkness...
That was scary, that was dark, that was creepy.
At the end of the day, what mattered to me at all was that I had my sisters, parents and grandmother with me.
Now it's been one year since that goddamn day and I swear it all happened and passed so quickly.
